The contented generation is now leaving us.....
Indian culture is known for its rich heritage, traditions and values that are passed down from generation to generation. However, the contented generation that has been an important part of this culture in recent times is moving away from us. In the next ten-fifteen years, the previous generation will leave this world. This is the bitter truth, because no one can stop this world. People of this generation are a little different! Born in the 1940s and 1950s, this generation grew up in a time of scarcity and hardship, yet was content with what they had. He valued simplicity, hard work and family. He was the backbone of Indian society and his departure is an irreparable loss.
One who wakes up early in the morning, sleeps on time at night, plants trees without wasting water, plucks flowers for God, performs daily puja, goes to the temple, when met on the road, asks sincerely and salutes. They cook with both hands on their chest without wasting food and grain. Without wasting food and if there is any left over, they give it to the poor or eat it with fruits the next day! The one who entertains guests even at his own disadvantage, celebrates his festivals with great pomp, abstains from addictions and society's hustle and bustle, mends old glasses when broken, old slippers when torn, wears old buns till they are dirty. Drying papads in summer, till hands hurt - making masala at home, ironing clothes to wear outside, saving money in pocket and possibly eating at home!
As the contented generation takes their leave,
We mourn the loss of values they did weave,
Their hard work and family, a foundation strong,
Now fading away, like a wistful song.
Their simple joys and steadfast ways,
Are now replaced by fleeting days,
A void left behind that cannot be filled,
As we bid farewell to a time now stilled.
But their legacy lives on, a shining light,
A reminder to cherish what's truly right,
To honor their values, and hold them dear,
For generations to come, year after year.
So let us not forget the contented generation,
And all they stood for, a true inspiration,
Their departure may bring sadness and pain,
But their impact on our lives will forever remain.
A contented generation grew up while India was still recovering from British rule and the struggle for independence. The country was still plagued by poverty, illiteracy and lack of basic amenities. The generation that came of age during this time learned to make do with whatever they had. They were taught to value hard work and perseverance over material possessions. They are content with simple pleasures like spending time with family, enjoying good food, and pursuing hobbies that don't require a lot of money.
This generation also laid great emphasis on education. They understand that education is the key to success and a better future for themselves and their families. Many of them were from humble backgrounds and had to work hard to get an education. Despite the many odds against him, he was determined to succeed. This drive for education and success helped them rise above their circumstances and achieve great things in life.
The contented generation also valued family above all else. Family was the center of his life and he went to great lengths to ensure that his loved ones were taken care of. He believed in the concept of joint families, where multiple generations lived together under one roof. This allowed them to share resources and support each other through thick and thin. They also valued traditions and rituals, which helped bind the family together.
However, as the complacent generation grows up, we are losing these values that they held dear. Younger generations are more focused on material possessions and instant gratification. They are not satisfied with what they have and always strive for more. The concept of joint family is gradually disappearing and nuclear families are becoming the norm. Due to this, the support system which was once the backbone of the Indian society has broken down.
Moreover, the younger generation is not as focused on education as the contented generation was. They take their education for granted and are not aware of the sacrifices made by their parents and grandparents for them to get an education. This lack of appreciation for education led to a decline in the quality of education and increased unemployment.
After all, the contented generation was an important part of Indian culture. He taught us the value of hard work, perseverance, simplicity and family. As they leave us, we must try to keep their values alive and pass them on to future generations. We must learn to be content with what we have and appreciate the sacrifices made by our forefathers. Only then can we create a better future for ourselves and our country.
How should we live a unique life like this contented generation:
1. Embrace your individuality: In Indian culture, there is often a pressure to conform to societal norms and expectations. However, to live a unique life, it is important to embrace your individuality and celebrate your unique qualities and strengths.
2. Pursue your passions: Identify your passions and pursue them with dedication and enthusiasm. Whether it is a hobby or a career, following your passions can bring a sense of fulfillment and purpose to your life.
3. Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness is the practice of being present in the moment and fully engaged in your surroundings. By practicing mindfulness, you can cultivate a greater sense of awareness and appreciation for the world around you.
4. Cultivate meaningful relationships: Building strong and meaningful relationships with family, friends, and community members can bring a sense of connection and purpose to your life.
5. Give back to others: Giving back to others through volunteering, charitable donations, or acts of kindness can bring a sense of fulfillment and purpose to your life while also making a positive impact on others.
6. Embrace change: Change is inevitable, and embracing it can lead to personal growth and new opportunities. Rather than resisting change, embrace it and see where it takes you.
7. Practice gratitude: Cultivating a sense of gratitude for the blessings in your life can bring a sense of contentment and joy. Take time each day to reflect on the things you are grateful for and express your gratitude to others.
Such people in our contented generations are gradually leaving this world! An important lesson will go with them when they are gone!
The teaching of living a contented, simple, meaningful, inspiring and caring life will disappear from this world forever! Will that lead to an end to leadership achievement and self-respect?
Then there will be only selfishness, mistrust, convenience, greed, insensitive mind, showy cowardice and artificial need for mobile; Virtual so-called life! and all
Bitter but true!

Nice, we have to follow them.
